What kind of lizard shoud i buy?
Most of the ones you listed are for more experienced reptile handlers. You should start off with a simple one, like a Leopard Gecko or an Anole. Bearded Dragons are also good, but require fairly large cages (60+ gallons required after they turn 4 months) This also applies to Iguanas and especially Savahnnah moniters. I STONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND GETTING A SAVANAH MONITER I YOU ARE NEW TO REPTILES. They are mid-sized moniters and require extensive care and attention. [Qoute] If your monitor escapes outside, your neighbors (and the local animal regulatory authorities) will be less than pleased. In fact, some cities or counties ban the ownership of such animals, or require that they be licensed; it is best to check out your local regulations before you buy. [End Qoute] Leopard Geckos and Anoles are very easy to take care of compared to the larger reptiles. I have owned both and they are very tame. Anoles are more expensive compared to leopard geckos, though. INFO ON LEAPORD GECKOS: [Qoute]
