How Big Is a Polar Bear?
Polar bears are the largest land carnivore. The males grow two to three times the size of female and weight between 350 to more than 650 kg (772-1,433 lb that’s up to 102 stone) and are about 2.5 to 3 m (8.2-9.8 ft.) long I found out for you that the largest polar bear ever recorded was a male who weighed 1,002 kg (2,209 lb. or 157stone) and measuring 3.7 m (12 ft.) long. Definitely wouldn’t want to come across one of these on a dark night…..or bright day!!! LOL.
