Dark humor is always disturbing. Or maybe I’m the only one who finds it humorous. Avoid the lightheartedness, but if the characters have a dark, disturbing sense of humor, flow with it. Watch the movie ‘Katiebird” to really understand the dark undercurrent of psychological humor.
