You should know that in Canada, it is illegal to sell a pup for one price ‘without papers’ and a higher price if the ‘papers’ come with him. In Canada, any dog sold as a purebred must also have his registration papers. These papers do not cost much, so don’t let a breeder tell you that it is too expensive to register the dog. It is also the breeder’s responsibility to pay for the registration.
