Why am i dizzy when i stand up ?

That’s not uncommon when you’ve been laying down. It’s called “postural hypotension”. When you stand up quickly after lying down, your blood pressure drops suddenly and the blood flow to the brain is reduced temporarily. This causes the dizziness. Your body is normally very quick to compensate for this by increasing your heartbeat and the volume of blood it pumps around, which is why we can normally go from lying to standing without a problem. But if you do it a bit too quick sometimes the body takes a few seconds to catch up. It shouldn’t happen continuously though. If it happens all the time you should probably see a doctor because there can be some other medical conditions causing your body to not compensate properly (it’s also made worse by some medications, and by dehydration). Just now and again is fine though.
