Why go Windsurfing in Fiji?
“To go sailing it is a simple case of walking 20 feet to the waters edge (from your hammock) and blasting off. The normal wind in Fiji at this time of year is 15-30 knots south east Trade winds.” With many new innovations in equipment recently, windsurfing is becoming much easier to learn. Gone are the days of falling off every two seconds, now beginner windsurfers can be sailing up and down happily within a day or two. This also means that it is now easier to train to become an instructor, a fast learning curve leads to greater skills and knowledge in a relatively short time. What could be more satisfying than learning a new sport, and traveling to an exotic location to do so, or to improve on your skills?
