What does a bloody stool mean?
Blood in your stool can be caused by different things. If the blood is bright red and easily seen, you may have caused a small tear if your stool was very hard and not easy to pass. If you see only small amounts of blood, it may be a bleeding hemorrhoid. Either way, this is a condition that your mother needs to be aware of. If it continues, you need to see a physician just to make sure that there is nothing more serious causing the blood in your stools.
