Is archery a fun activity?
Archery is fantastic! I was an avid archer while I was in high school, before life got in the way, and Im just now getting back into it. The best part of archery is how much real skill it takes. Unlike shooting guns not only do you have to aim, but you have to remain steady and, if you go with a recurve bow, maitain your tension before you can release the arrow. After you release the arrow you have to make sure that you stay in the correct posture and still be aiming to make sure you hit your mark. Needless to say, your stance is important. All in all, it is an awesome sport and much more skilled than shooting anything else!
