A series renderer corresponds to a subclass of either: • org.eclipse.birt.chart.render.BaseRenderer • org.eclipse.birt.chart.render.AxesRenderer … depending on the chart type. Examples of series renderers are: • org.eclipse.birt.chart.render.Bar (subclasses AxesRenderer) • org.eclipse.birt.chart.render.Pie (subclasses BaseRenderer) Note that AxesRenderer provides a detailed plot rendering framework capable of rendering, scaling, transposing and auto positioning of plot components that contain axes. Offscreen computations (for a chart with axes) are performed using an internal class called PlotWith2DAxes.
